1. Why don't I see any pets in my area?
If there are no pets listed in your area that simply means no one has added any pets in your area yet. Since Pounce is a location based platform to help with local pet adoptions and fosters - we encourage sharing our website link www.pounceapp.com in an email or over social to your local adoption centers or people in your community so they can add their pet listings.
2. How do I upload pets to Pounce?
Tap your profile image on the bottom left of the navigation bar. A menu will appear, from this menu please select LIST A PET and then follow the on screen steps. If you require bulk uploading of pets please reach out to us directly here and we'll help you get your pets uploaded.
3. What happens when someone Pounces on one of my listings?
When a user finds one of your pet listings and Pounces on that listing, you'll be instantly paired together via a chat room with the user. From their you can instruct the user on your adoption and fostering process or help them simply learn more about the pet you've listed.
4. How do I remove my pet listings once they've been adopted?
Tap your profile image on the bottom left of the navigation bar. A menu will appear, from this menu please select MY PETS. From the My Pets page, you can simply swipe to the left directly on any of the pets listings on this page and a delete option will appear.
5. How do I manage my business, shelter, or rescue page?
Business, shelter, and rescue pages are automatically managed by Pounce system at this time. Once you enter your organization name and address at signup it will automatically create a listing profile for your organization that displays your organizations name, address and all your pet listings that have been added to Pounce.
6. How do I delete chat messages?
Tap that chat icon on the bottom right of the navigation bar. Your chat threads will appear here, from this page, you can simply swipe to the left directly on any of the chat conversations on this page and a delete option will appear.
7. What happens when I press Pounce on a pet?
When you Pounce on a Pet Listing, you'll be instantly paired together with the Pet Owner via a chat room. From their you can learn more about the pet listing, the adoption and fostering process required by the lister, or take the next steps and arrange a visit.
